Thermal imaging of solar arrays uses infrared cameras to capture and analyse the heat signature of solar panels and provides valuable insight into the performance and efficiency of your solar array.
This popular and cost-effective health check eliminates the need for physical intervention or invasive testing methods, enhances the safety of our operatives and reduces the risk of damage to the panels. We offer Thermal imaging as an additional service which can be completed at the same time as cleaning and inspection.
A full colour output is provided in conjunction with our service report. Thermal inspection of arrays provides a unique perspective that cannot be seen by the naked eye and can identify potential issues. Thermal Inspections are surveillance surveys completed as part of proactive maintenance schedules. They do not warrant that an array is wholly safe or without electrical faults and are completed without liability.

Thermal imaging is best completed following cleaning (and is far more cost-effective) however it can be undertaken as a standalone service. Thermal inspection fees vary according to distance travelled, installed location and size of the array, accessibility e.g. Ground mount, flat/pitch roof and if any elevated working platform is required.
